Winter sun options from Glasgow unveiled in new guide
Holidaymakers looking to jet off to sunnier climes from Glasgow this winter will have a wide selection holiday options, according to a new holiday guide.
Encouraging holidaymakers to travel to sun-drenched destinations from the Scottish airport, the guide highlights the many new sunny options available to travellers from Glasgow.
Recently named Best Airport at the AOA Annual Awards, Glasgow Airport offers a good start to any vacation. With exotic destinations such as Jamaica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Tunisia on the winter programme, there are plenty of opportunity for Scots to enjoy some great sunshine overseas this winter.
The guide also lists all-time winter favourites such as Spain, the Canary Islas, Cyprus and Turkey.
Airport Managing Director Amanda McMillan said, ‘From America to Africa to Asia, Glasgow Airport offers more long haul destinations than any other airport in Scotland, making it easier than ever for holidaying Scots to discover the world this winter.’
Around 10,000 copies of the guide will be distributed through local bars, hotels, restaurants and visitor attractions.
